Hello from Afghanistan. LS1 TECH Newbie.
Hello I'm new to ls1 tech. I'm in the USMC deployed in Afghanistan currently trying to get some info for when I get back. I hope I can help out also and meet new people in the process. Here's a few pics to warm it up a bit.

Whattup LS1 Tech peeps!!!
I am also overseas in Baghdad, Iraq looking for some ideas for my recently purchased 02 Virgin SS (Just turned 50k)..... I have 5k to spend right now and I am looking for some suggestions..... Please send them in..... Nothing for the interior or exterior..... Looking for every bit of it to go under the hood and under the car..... If you can think of great combinations to make it "Funner" to drive it around town, please let me know.....
Best regards,
Resqboy

To all the military members who are on these boards, thanks. Keep kicking butt. Nice 'bird, I must agree with taking off the side molding.
Get some CNC ported L92 heads is a good recommendation for huge power for a future build for your 02 SS.

Thanks everyone! Just a question to clarify side molding being the door bumper molding or the flat black rocker panel molding? The rocker molding took a nasty digger on sidewalk after it was lowered and havn't got around to a repaint yet. ZSSMAN my MOS is 6252 a Harrier Airframes mechanic. I deal with the structures (metal/carbon fiber),and hydraulics. As far as Resqboy im going to agree heads are a must. Add a cam, intake, and full exhaust you're dealing with a whole other level of fun! The sound and performance is incredible on these. Just beware of the 10 bolt rear ends though the power will eat it right up. Thats my next upgrade. As far as the exhaust tip suggestion. I might actually entertain the idea of new ones now. They don't really do the car any justice. Nice suggestions keep them coming.
