Hi all, my name is joe. I live near Houston, TX. Some ppl on other forums recommended this site to me to check out, so im here to check it out, lol. I bought a 98 firebird t-top 3.8 v6 5 spd in jan. 2011. I fully rebuilt the motor and got it back on the road last week.

.30 over pistons
new rings
clevite cam/crank/rod bearings
stock cam (for now)
ported heads
105# springs
steel retainers
comp cam lightweight pushrods
stock rockers
all new gaskets, seals, freeze plugs, etc...
everything is new, except the block core, it was the only thing i reused on the motor, both heads were cracked, so i bought brand new head cores and built them.

I will post some pics in a bit. Car is basically a cruiser/DD that im mainly fixing up to look good and give it a few more HP, just to have it when its needed.

I am planning on doing a full exhaust, headers, and intake mods. Along with the Hurst Short Throw Shifter.

I just did the free "Ram-Air" mod on car today, removed the honey comb at front of TB, and re-wired/deleted the antenna on car today.
