Default New Old Hat Guy From Idaho

New from Jerome, Idaho I have a 69 Z-28 that I purchased in June of 69. I am trying to build my first LS for this car. It has had several engines since the 302 days. In 1970 I converted it to a 350 then later to a 377, that I ran at the Pony Express 100 ( Rodger Wards, Nevada Road Race ) in 1993. In 2000 I drove the car to the Bonneville Salt Flats and at thier USFRA World of Speed Event and was the 11-th member of thier 150 Club for street cars. At that time the car had a 588 C.I. Pump Gas Big Block. I purchased a LQ-9 Engine Core Complete. I also have a magnacharger kit that I would like to use on this project. I need to stay on a straight & narrow budget for this project. Looking forward to learning about the LS engines. I have quite a bit of experience with both big & small block chevrolet engines. But this will be my first LS. In addition to our Camaro Project My Wife & I Bracket Race a 33 ****** at a 1/8 mile track in Gooding, Idaho.
