Hi ...
hi all, im in the uk, just dropped a lr4 in my 56 chevy stepside,
i joined as i found good info on here, not many pictures of swaps though ...
but good info, shame it's all a waiting game when yr here in uk, as all the good parts are over the water....
I just got the swap done as im starting a new job in london, so no toying except weekends now
I work on dwdm optical networks and used to wrench when I left school, 32 yrs ago ... some skills you never lose, just get better.
I swapped the engine on my own, outside in **** english weather .... about freezing most of time.... piece of cake on the transplant, saving grace and praise for the tig, mig and rotary file
I'll get some pics and what went on together sometime. After I get it running properly... ecu is goofed, or bad flash, but using my mates 5.3 ecu until the posty drops me a replacement ....
