Hello everybody .

My name is Tom and I'm from germany. I have got my 99 C5 Coupe in summer 2006 and I'm really happy with this Corvette .

This forum seems very informative and I hope to find a lot of worthwhile informations about the LS1/LS6.

Tom

@Gerry

Thanks!

Miss the country or our german beer ?

I live in the north-west area between Ruhrgebiet und Hannover referred to as Ost-Westfalen-Lippe a few kilometers from the autobahn A2.

I'm married now, but the ladies were nice when I was there but I definitly miss the beer...

I was stationed in Friedberg, about 35 KM (~22 miles) North of Fankfort, talk about fun...

Oh and I wish I had a good car on one of the autobahn's, my cheep 10 yr old Opel hatchback didn't do much for me out there but I tried a few times to get the=at thing moving pretty good...

Oh yeah, welcome to LS1Tech MadTom...

Married is the right way .

Friedberg in the north of Frankfurt? Such strange coincidence . A friend of me with a 2000 Z28 LS1 lives there .

As I was young I had also a few Opel Hatchback like Commodore A and Manta A.

Woher kannst Du deutsch ?

Wilkommen!

Ich begruesse Sie.

Ich war auch in Deutschland stationiert. Zuerst in Erlangen, dann spaeter in Friedberg.

Autobahnstrecken waren kein Problem.

I 've eaten in the Elvis Presley dining facility, quite a few times, when were you there? I was with 1-36 from 1999-2001...

It's been too many years for me to remember how to type it out in German, however I can read it without and issue, strange...

BMW Cars? I'm BMW Driver and fan since nearly 25 years. 95er 540?

I think I know all Manta Modells...the Manta is a legend in Germany.

But this the real Manta was the Manta A . Max HP 105 PS, 4 cylinders, 1,9 Ltr Injection in 1972. Later were a few guys building alterations with the 6 cylinder motor from.
One guy in the german forum built a Manta project with V8.

Top Leistung etwa 240 KmH. Sehr bequem bei deren Geschwindigkeit.
