84 C10 Fuel System Question
Have a question that I thought I had previously addressed but I think I missed something. When using the C5 filter/regulator on my 84 5.3 swap I decided to just run the rubber fuel injection hose for now from the sending unit to the filter's two inlets (the hi pressure 7 the return line) instead of AN line.
My question is: how should I attach the hose to the filter end given it still has the factory quick disc ring on the two lines and I cant slip the rubber hose over the ring ? Do I cut the quick disc part off or try to work the hose on over the ring and then clamp it? I am using the FI clamps & all but I am worried about the hi pressure line staying put and not leaking. Please Help!

you need to get some adapters...
http://www.midwayautosupply.com/
3/8" female connector DOR-800-121
5/16" female connector DOR-800-120
or you can check your local auto parts store.
Make sure you use the good FI hose clamps not the rinky dink 10 for a dollar ones.
I am using these adapters and have no problems.
