urgent

Tommorrow I'll be getting my car back from the mechanic thats installing a rebuilt tranny with a shift kit and new torque converter. NOW my question is what should I expect out of a "new tranny" with a shift kit to feel like?

depends. maybe just a little harder shift or could be a hard snapping neck type thing.
usually second is the worst.

is it a stock converter or a higher stall? if its stock then you will feel a nice fast solid shift. higher stalls will coushin the shift more so it wont feel as hard even though it is.

I have the car back and the shifts are wicked.I'm extremely happy

Hard shifts will break this transmission.

They should be quick and positive but not a hard snap. Most guys are tickled when they get one back and it snaps hard but over time it gets old and then things break.
