cam selection help
hey guys i just got my motor back from the machine shop. still a 350. i also have ported and polished heads stock lt1 heads. i have long tubes headers and a 58 tb. i just need some help with the cam selection. I'm looking for something that can get me to 350-370 RWHP NA on my 6 speed. thanks.
so far i heard of the 306 cam and some XFI comp cams. i would like a XFI cam that can get me there since I've heard there better for a daily.

advanced inductions or elliottsportworks google those names either one is the only option i would consider. not sure if its true or not but i heard those xfi cams like to eat valve springs. Also the post at the top of the page https://ls1tech.com/forums/lt1-lt4-modifications/836200-stock-head-cam-cam-swap-guide.html

Which is basically an off the shelf cam now isn't it? Considering you can see the specs and gives you a little background on each of them. I also agree with looking into www.elliottsportworks.com or www.advancedinduction.com

cams listed on my site are given to customers about 50% of the times and designed to work with LE1 heads and the springs I use on them. They were designed for the most common set ups that people have. Sometiomes they are still the best choice with LE2 heads but sometimes not.
People using LE2 heads and the Patriot Gols Extreme springs will be able to use more lift and more aggresive lobes.
Most customers calling for a cam only set up and using bee hives or Patriot Gold Extremes will open up the options on how aggressive the lobes can be.
Even people buying my heads or a cam only set up and Crane dbl springs can end up with different a cam than listed on my sitre just based on there set up and what they are wanting it to do.

yeah right now I have it shifting at 6200 rpm but i'm going to lower it to 5900-6000 and see how that goes were still in the process of tuning and playing with the shift tables, ect,
but even when I took it to almost 6200 it felt good.
and like you said great street maners but at a light or parked when its ideling it sounds good with my magna flow a good low rumble sound.
all I have to do is get some better bitting tires, right now I have evo 245/50/16 but they are 3 yr old.
and been loosing the bit they had before.
