I've seen one with it. it looked good. I'd do it if the tint laws werent against it. I cant afford that ticket and then have to rip it off. know what i mean. but yes to answer it It's good looking and I would do it.

A friend of mine in Hawaii had it done on his mustang... it was only 50% but it looked GOOD! Made a huge difference on the cooling inside the car too.

I tinted my windshield (actually, all 3 of my vehicles have some tint on the windshield). I have 15% on my Hawk, and 35% on my Blazer and the GTP.
Visibility is fine with the 15%, and no change in the 35%. It definitely reduces headlight glare at night.
I've had no problems with getting ticketed, but it's a simple "fix-it" ticket anyway
Here's a picture:

I had it done also. 5% on the car and 35% on the windshield. Takes some getting used to the first couple days, but it looks amazing! It cost me 80 bucks to put on and recently got a fix it ticket and had to remove it.

it is way less noticable if the whole thing is done. But, if you put your windows down, you can tell. My friend had his done in his Jeeta, and it was not bad to drive in, waaaay cooler in the sun, AC last longer, and save the dash and interior. I would say go for it, if you can find someone competent. That is a lot of glass in a hrd-to-reach location for one piece! but man it is soooo

Friend of mine has an '02 TA with 20% on the sides and rear and 50% on the front. You can barely notice the tint on the windshield, just creates a nice shadow effect inside the car

When I was a kid I did silver reflective. Now that I am older I realize that in an accident no matter whos fault it was; a good lawyer will pin it on you for having reduced visability from the tint on the window. At the least they would fault 50/50.

I don't think it would affect the function of the saftey glass at all. Safety glass is made to break in small cubes with a protective coating to keep the pieces together on the sheet. So, in fact it should make it safer. Its another layer holding onto the pieces.

I'm thinkin about doing it. I like the idea of not having to use a sunshade for the windshield and if it harms visibility too much like said above, just rip it off.

So is the tint on the inside of the window or on the outside in its final stage? Tint is cool but looks like a pain to install.

Damn that must be a bitch to do.
Some guy was telling me his buddy tints on the outside and leaves it there. I said he was wrong but he disagreed. Thanks URPREY
