Default getting dyno tuned questions.

im taking my car to a local guy i know who has a performance shop. He has tuned many Vettes, GTO's an mustangs. He has never tuned a LS-4. He is going to be using HP tuners. He said he shouldnt have any problems with it as he has used the program hundreds of times. My question for everyone: is there anything special you guys know of that i should be giving him a heads up on? I know to turn off the DOD which im having him remove anyways.

i would not turn off dod it doesnt give you a performace boost becasue its disabled under wot anyway. You will just lose a lot of gas mileage. What mods do you have to your car. I would have him disable the traction control and torque managment software. Also increase the transmition line pressure. Increase the rev limiter as well.

im having the dod disabled because my lifters are making noise, and i hate the sound of my exhaust when its engaged. As for mods i have a hogan dp, cai, shift kit and exhaust cut out.

I think it is time for me to pull the plug on DOD as well, that noise/vibration/shudder is unbearable.
