3,000 Camaros already pre-sold!! Wow this is good news for GM, not a huge number, but it is said to be climing rapidly.

They would have at least 1 more if the dealer did not want 2k over sticker. Went to another dealer in springfield missouri and was quote: V6-5k, V8-10k over sticker, told them I would not pay that, they said I would never be able to get one then and laughed at me. Crappy dealers have turned me off from buying a new camaro at this time. Will wait until April 09 to get one at invoice and 0% interest

Well I am guessing they have sold more like 4000-5000 now after people could get to the dealers over the weekend and now over a full week of sales. That 3000 was just in the first 3 days!
Can't wait to see these on the road!

talked to a few dealers. pre ordered one from monument chevrolet in houston. its funny how the tune changes from selling over 11k at sticker to msrp when you are ready to buy and have cash. and will not hesitate to walk if the deal isnt 100% perfect!

And the way things are going, I predict there'll be a 3-year run of Camaros, then out. GM's gonna buttfuck the F-bodies again, like it did before, except this time it won't be about selling cheap trucks and SUV's. This time it'll be about selling Volts!
And how the hell can any dealer DARE to charge anything over invoice in this economy?!?!
I roll by Crevier Chevy in Long Beach everyday and they can't give away Vettes. Not even Z06's at 0% for 60 months!
