Default New shop vehicle coming soon

Put a deposit on a 99 TA today. It is 100% stock down to the lid and has an A4 in it.

Plan on doing the bolt-on gain tests on it like lid, headers, ported TB,ect then it will get a Cam or 2 followed by heads.Figured I'd start at the basics again to help out all the newer customers with limited budgets.

By next spring I'll be racing either the 11.5 class or 10.5 depending on how far I go on the car. It will be a 100% street car for my daily driving.

Now that's what I like to hear... Back in a T/A!!!

I hope to get back in a T/A someday myself, been trying to get Tiffany to buy one so she can race with me, hell I almost bought her a rolling chasis with a 9" and cage already in the car but it didn't go over very well. LoL

Great Choice Don!

Did I read that correctly, the Race Car has been FS/for sale?

So this means you'll be at the track more next season....??

Awesome. Back in the saddle again! How many miles?

I'm actually pumped you got an A4 car. I wanna see how the 4l60E works out for you. Definately the best option for an 11.5 car, mild H/C car and a 3600 stall

I honestly think Don you should try to get it in the high 10's. Low 230's cam, 215 heads, 12 bolt, 4000 stall and a 3500 lb car will do it Something about a 10 sec NA street car that raises eyebrows.

What happened on getting a new Camaro, maybe later? Definately post pics of the TA when you get it.

Obviously I could build it into a 10 second car easy enough. My goal is a real good driver with a tight 3200stall and build a H/C package that is all midrange which I did years ago.

I'm a dealer for RPM transmissions and will probly have them build a top of the line setup.

Sounds good Don, should be a piece of cake for you and ought to appeal to a higher clientele. When the time comes the Yank SS series is a nice tight converter for a street/weekend warrior, like Noyzee said.

RPM huh, supposed to be one of the best. I'm glad you will be rubbing shoulders with one of the best tranny builders in the country. God knows its hard to find a good 4l60 builder.
