just trying to see what everyone sets their gap to.
when i used to spray, i believe i set them to .038 if my memory serves me correctly. the car ran great.
never had any problems
how about everyone else here?

The wider the gap the easier the car is gonna start and idle, and that will let you get away with a little colder plug too and not have problems.
The plugs I run are a #9 heat range for a referance, and with a 35 gap the car still starts and idles fine unless it's really cold out or it's sat for a long time.
I know that I've had them gapped tighter before to see if it would run any different just to try it, and the only thing that tightening the gap up did was make it idle like ****.
If you're blowing the spark out yes you need to tighten it up, but that's the only time I would do it, and with the lsx ignition and nitrous, I don't know of anyone that's blown the spark out yet.
