We got it! 1996 Impala SS 4600lbs 10.86 on RADIALS with roadrace suspension. (VID)!!!
Thought I'd start a new post WITH VIDEO!!!!
Car has lots left as we're short shifting 1000 rpm early due to valve float issues.
You can hear it shift into OD about 1000 ft out.
AND there is more left in the combo hp wise.
There is "ZERO" weight transfer as the car is loaded up with huge swaybars and braces to try to get it to handle.
This is a true street car that leaves just as hard on a good street surface.
It idles @ 750 rpm has working A/C and breathes through the stock 1-7/8" tailpipes.
(There are two electric cutouts)
The engine compartment shows NOTHING. Crawl and prod as you'd like... it appears N/A.
We got asked only to "slow it down" this time by the tower but last outing we were asked to not make any more passes.
They just said "Goodnight.. You're done."
This is for all the folks that may not quite believe, yet....
ENJOY!!!

It does look like it transfers pretty well. If you were looking for more you could always go with the adjustable setup from Rustic so you could still road race.
Very nice times. I keep telling myself that isn't much point in modding my car because of it's weight but your car definitely proves me wrong.

They were great at the track. Even cheering us on!
We made several low 7 sec. (even a 7.0) passes at 100+mph (1/8th mi.)
so the writing was all over the wall.
We won't be back though for lack of proper safety equipment.
The car was meant to be street driven and that's where the chassis sorting was done.
I'm kind of surprised at the LT1's acceptance of this level of power without even a hint of protest!
Thanks for the kind words!
We've always got Byron for that single digit run next spring!!!
