i have a 94 firebird formula with 66 thousand miles.. good reliable car.. i ran out of gas yesterday for the second time and when we filled it up and went to start it it would crank but not turn over... when we kept tryin to crank it we would blow the pcm ignition fuse.. other forums have told me its the fuel pump.. what are your opinions thanks alot jeff

when you run the tanks empty you tend to burn up the pump... the fuel cools and lubricates the pump... so without fuel it overheats and burns up.... so yea, your pump is trashed from the sound of it...
