Default Dual inline pumps Series or Parallel

I have two 255 lph pumps. One has been on the car for quite a while.. the other I just got free. Its the exact same brand and type just one is about 4 years older.

Should I replace one with the other, run them in parallel or what? I have a stock intake pump now but plan on going with a racetronix LT1 setup. Car is a 355 LT1 supercharged and I hope to make around 550 RWHP with it or so when I'm finished.

No need with the correct setup one single Walbro pump could support your 550rwhp.

Nate,
Depending on the set-up he's got, he may be running an old school rising rate of gain regulator on that LT1 (those were pretty popular back in the day). If so, and he needs a lot of pressure...that might compromise volume on a single 255. Maybe the OP could post more specifics?
