slp 51015 402 cam? SLP 51015) anyone everrun this cam?
im looking for a cam for my 402 and want something that is going to put down good times at the track and still have a nasty idle..lol..here are the specs
int: .596" 303º 250º
ex: .596" 299º 246º
114 lsa

Thats good, guessing its 250/246 @ .050
Id go with a lower lsa, like 112 or 110
My cam for my 402 build is 238/244 .605/.610 lsa 110 This was on my stock cid ls1, and next year sometime, ill be upping the duration on the cam, but im def going to run it on a 110 lsa. here is a link of my stock cid first test drive with that cam. http://s166.photobucket.com/albums/u...t=DSCN0907.flv

I have the 51014 in my stock cube LS1... It has a horrible power band and doesn't really come on until 4500 or so.
Specs are .590 .590 .236 .236 112lsa for reference
It was in the motor when i bought it so I figured I would try it. It will be replaced over the winter though. I hear these cams are great for the bigger inch and higher compression motors though.
