Default New PB today stock shortblock

Today we had our Atco rental and I ran a new best 10.14@130.9 this will seat me number 6 on the H/C 346 list. I'd like to give a HUGE shout to Chris at Circle D converters. This converter he built me is a flat bomb dropper. Had a hard time keeping the nose down as I cracked the oil pan when it came down after a holy **** (my pants) launch. The Yank I was running always left very hard with the wheels up but I was no way prepared for this.
A trip to the auto parts store for some JB weld brake cleaner and oil and I was back at it. I cranked the shocks to settle the front end and 1.31 60 ft times on this Circle D converter,Performabuilt level3 4L60, and my stock shortblock with a GM heads (5.3's done by Absolute Speed over 5 years ago) LG G5X4 camshaft. I ran a 10.16@130.1 and backed it up with a 10.14@130.9. Next pass she reached for the sky again I let off but got back in it and softened the blow but the JB Weld was done and so was my day.
This car made 405RWHP SAE 2 weeks ago at Eastside performance's dynojet car was 3K raceweight. You can see in my sig my previous best this was a nice leap in performance. I need to figure a way on keeping the front end at bay maybe some suspension limiters?

My tranny was fine it was my converter that was the problem last time out. Yes half a second and 6 mph from a cam and Converter change(same weight). On a car already going mid 10's that's a hell of a thing. You could not pay enough money to change this converter! Circle D for president LOL . . . .

Thats a really BAD *** 60 ft!!!! Any idea what your converter stalls to? I have been contemplating going with one for next season.Mine hits hard but is a little on the inefficent side,(13%). I know there is more mph lurking in this combo.

JFM's converter was a new design we are working on. I think it is safe to say that it works very well. I will have some info on them shortly. If you are interested, please PM me. Great numbers BTW John, and sorry about the oil pan.

Chris
