Default Leakdown Results

So I had a compression and leakdown test on a new 440 LS7.

They're all 12-14% except one with 19%.

The rings are plasma moly Hellfire rings for nitrous possibly later.

Results are after 500 miles.

Does this sound ok to you?

Engine hot or cold? Forged pistons i assume? ring gaps? these would be helpful, doesn't sound bad though still probably has a little breaking in to do

No. I recently did a leak-down test on my 427 and all cylinders (except one) were under 5% leakage on a cold engine. This engine has over 100 passes on it. To me, anything over 10% is not good.

id say 25% leak down is acceptable on a cold engine. definitaly no more than that.
