99 s10 transmission into 97 camaro

99 s10 transmission into 97 camaro The automatic tranny section seems dead tonight and no one there deals with lt1s so,
I found a guy on a local forum who has a good transmission out of a 99-2000 s10 with the 4.3.
It has a detatchable bellhousing and mine in my car is non-detatchable.
Also, all of the transmissions around here that ive found have a detatchable bellhousing so I really hope i can make it work.
Can I make this work. I know a tranny out of an s10 will work, and i may need to change tailshafts, but can i make this one work. The guys only asking 300 for it and i know that it is good so it sure would be nice...
