Default haha funny cam install story

ya i did my cam install a long time ago, but i just remembered this story and thought id share it... so i had the cylinder compressed to keep the valves up with a small, crappy compressor that leaked. well my dad called me into the house, started talking ate dinner, blah blah, anyways, i came outside to find that the compressor had leaked down and the valve dropped into the motor!
i couldnt even see the valve with a flashlight
hahahah
oh i was having so much fun grinding down my pocket screwdrivers w/ the lil magnets on the end to fit it down the hole. haha i felt like an idiot. then i got a metal rod and stuck a magnet to that and then put it in the hole and pulled it out and the magnet got stuck to the valve. then i realized i was a pissed off idiot and i prayed and prayed and hand cranked the motor over and i swear it was a miracle, the valve slowly popped up. ahhhh

isnt it nice having quality tools? like a compressor that doesnt leak? hahahah

ok im done now

Haha my engine sat for a long time and my piston rings were leaking so bad it could barely keep the valve held up. I compression tested 7 cylinders 0-30psi and the 8th made 130psi before i started it. After a few heat cycles all were 158-162psi. I built my engine in the dining room so you can imagine a 15 gallon compressor running in the dyning room constantly for like 45 minutes lol.
