Putting a girdle on 10 bolt, Tq specs?
Im putting a girdle on my 10 bolt and gonna change the fluid to something heavy in hopes of making it last maybe an extra launch, my car makes 420hp and 390tq NA and i have 315 555r's, so yes it is a combo for a dead 10 bolt, but anything to help me sleep a little better at night. I dont race it at the track much, just a little street racing and stoplight racing so i just want it to hold up to a decent launch a couple times. I do have a 9 inch fund growing for WHEN this one goes out, but does anyone know the tq specs on the studs and the bolts? And how heavy oil should i use?

The heavier weight fluid is 75w140. Brand selection is dealer's choice; everyone has their own preference and reasons for its selection.
Good luck, I have put a lot of miles on my 10 bolt with this combo running 400 rwhp. Of course, I am running an auto, which is much easier on it than an M6.

well, i broke off the driver side stud. Shitty, but i think i torqued it down to close to 15lbs and i just jb welded it there so hopefully it wont back out. How much fluid do i put in it? until it comes out of the fill hole? man this was a real bitch trying to fill this thing up with 140 weight fluid. I swear ARGH 3 hours and i barely got 2 bottles in and spilled a otn on the ground

You have to use the housing fill hole as your FULL line. On my girdle, the built-in fill hole was nearly 2 inches lower than the stock one....and that burned up two brand new pinion bearings in a week...
If girdle's fill hole and factory housing fill hole are at same level, then you're OK. If not, you're asking for trouble due to lack of lubrication.
