Lq9 deck height

Lq9 deck height Im trying to figure out if anyone knows exactly what the deck height is on a stock lq9 block i may have been told i need to get .015 cut off the deck surface i no a zero deck is 9.230. Thanks for your help

9.240 is what piston manufacturers are listing for the truck iron blocks. Aluminum blocks 9.230. You really want to make the deck cut last after everything is mocked up if you are shooting for zero or some specific quench #.
