First thing is put the stock manifolds back on with an ory or cat delete pipes. Then wrap the intire exhaust from the manifolds to the turbo with header wrap.Dont even think about useing the headers Its a waste of time.

If you already have the LT try It.The rest of us did until we got smart and listened to the other 100 testimonial threads that talks about how much better the stock manifolds work.Never said they wouldn't work but you will be amazed on the big difference In spool time with the stock manifolds.Ive been messing with the STS kit for the last 3 1/2yrs.Look up all of Zombie's posts and Longrange4u's build. You will find alot of helpful information there.Good luck with what ever you decide.

i would suggest you buy some lq9 heads with harder valve springs and pushrods. the heads will lower you compression ratio and the harder valve springs will prevent valve float.
also why do you want to go rear mount ? you can get some good deals on front mount kits on this forum if you search the F/S section. if you are not going for big power the sts kit with a small turbo will be fine, but once you throw a big one on there the lag will be ALOT greater then on a front mount kit. good luck
