Default Best way to polish chrome rims

Bought a used set of chrom rims, no pits, no road rash. Just need a good cleaning. I assume to buff them with mothers chrome polish using one of those meguire foam ***** for the end of my drill? Then what? windex the resigue off and wax them?

One of the Mothers powerballs will ruin the clear coat on a chrome wheel. Stick to chrome polish on a applicator pad and scrub away, buff off with microfiber.

Turtle Wax Chrome Polish, pick it up, stuffs great! Get 2 Terry Cloth Towels, apply with one (put it on like wax rubbing it in real good), and the other take it off with.

x2 I use the same stuff. I just use paper towels, they seem to work great as well.

should be able to clean them with just soap and water but some polish stuff might be a little better, you can't really "polish" chrome though, its too hard (as in tough, not difficult to do)...you just clean it well

if they're clearcoated it might be discolored

Yes I know I just gave him the name of that stuff. We use it on all my old man's chrome on his truck (IH 9900IX), and that stuff even takes out small pits and rust deposits.
