Default Painted My Bumper...

Instead of paying someone to do it, I decided to see first if I could do it myself and make it look good... if it doesn't last, then oh well I'm out $10 for paint/sandpaper and I'll take it to a shop. But for now I think it turned out pretty good for a rattle-can job!

First I scuffed the surface w/ 220 grit, then shot 2 coats of primer. Then I wet-sanded the primer w/ 400. Then came 3 coats of satin black followed by 3 coats of matte clear. So....what does everyone think?

Oh, and the stupid auto-sales sticker will be getting evicted shortly.

I still don't get WHY everyone feels that primer is some kind of magic adesion promoter. If you don't sand trough you don't need primer. Simple scotch brite and go is sufficiant enough. Sorry about the rant.

Looks good though.

Looks good, ...,
And use fingernail polish remover to get rid of the 'AVS' on the taillight covers.
