im looking at getting some heads so my t/a can finally breathe. im looking at a set of trickflows, the specs are:

Combustion Chamber volume: 62cc

Intake Port volume: 195cc

Exhaust Port volume: 72cc

Valve sizes: For use with 2.02" Intake, 1.625" Exhaust

I run a cc306, edelbrock air gap, hooker headers, no egr, forged bottom end, bolt ons blah blah... is that a good head for the car based on the numbers?

i know ill have to get it re-tuned but i dont think the 200+ ports would be good since its not boosted or sprayed. not tryin to go extreme here, just tryin to let the cc306 do its thing (and breathe).

need some opinions so i can do this right...

If you think you must buy aftermarket castings the Trickflows are the best choice at the moment, but really most guys are better served with ported stock castings. The Edelbrock intake is garbage, even a magazine test showed it to cost a slight amount of power compared to stock. Yes you read that right it made LESS than the stock intake.


You want to do it right.
