Default front plate law?

My friend told me the other day that they was passing the law that you no longer need the front plate. I have been searching all over the net and can't find nothing about it. Is he full of ****? Said it would be passed in Sept. of 2009.

I really hate my front plate, who all drives without one?

I'm getting ready to move to Texas and am contemplating even registering my vehicle there for this reason. I hate front plates so much.

I've heard a plate on the dash/windshield can slice you (or passener) up pretty good in a frontal impact situation. I'll just take the ticket and chalk it up as more "road tax."

Those suction cups take care of that. Those sumbitches aren't coming off of there without a lot of force pulling on them. Its gonna suck when i have to take them off
