Alright i have a fresh 370 that i built for my turbo setup that i can't sell to save my life since i parted out my turbo kit
The problem is i want to run the engine n/A with spray BUT my slugs are 16cc dish meaning that even with a 58cc head i BARELY break 10.0:1 so i need to swap slugs
I talked to My engine Builder today and these are my options as it stands
~Swap my slugs to flat tops and call it a day (Motor has barely any miles just needs a quick hone) I could sell the slugs but not for much
~Stroke the Bitch to 408 and sell the 370 Rotating assembley to offset cost (suprisingly only gonna cost me about $500 more than a straight slug swap
~Find the Smallest CC head made and run that and hope that it makes decent power
~Find a buyer and just buy a stock motor and stop breaking **** lol
I want the opinion of the class
It's going in a 2006 Extended cab GMC with undetermined heads and a FAST or new Edelbrock Tunnel Ram

thats a tuff one....
Well, if i woke up in your shoes; i would go with a cheap set of forged flat-top piston sell the others dirt cheap (make someone are super deal) and put it back very mild and drive it with a BIG shot...

i'm not sure if i would regret not going 408 for the extra torque with a heavy truck

If budget is not a problem the go 408...
If your trying to get back into it quick and easy, put flat-tops in.
If you on a BUDGET and the truck can stay down for a few months then save up the cash and do with the motor what you want. As for me, money is tight and I like to enjoy what I got; so I would go the quick and easy way and spray a 200shot on it.

If your trying to get back into it quick and easy, put flat-tops in.
If you on a BUDGET and the truck can stay down for a few months then save up the cash and do with the motor what you want. As for me, money is tight and I like to enjoy what I got; so I would go the quick and easy way and spray a 200shot on it.
