Default hot side suggestions

I am in the process of doin a turbo build and I am stuck on what route to go with on the hotside piping and I am new to the turbo scene so I need a little help I am looking to make between 850 and 900 hp and wondering if the hotside piping I go with will hold a big role on how much power I can make and how good it spools...

Thanks

What do you want to know about hotside most charge pipes are around 2 1/2 and the bigger the down pipe the better, I would not suggest a 3" charge may be hard to spool the turbo/turbos with that.

truck manifolds, 2.5 in crossover, 3.5 + dp

76mm on up for the turbo, T4 or T6 depending on cubes.

I've seen a lot of people say that kits are only good for like 600 HP but I think that is cause of the small downpipe so if I was to buy a cheaper hot side than these big money race kits and just have a bigger downpipe built I should be able to make my power level with the right size turbo am I on the right track or is there something I'm missing

Thanks
