You should have no problem at all. That is one of Lous baby cams compared to the x3 and x4 that would require flycutting. What head gasket are you using ??

Using that cam should provide a lot of low end TORQUE and still provide decent mid and top end power. Also the drivability should be very nice provided the tune is very good.

To be 100% sure, call Anthony or Bobby at LGM and ask.

You should be fine.... I'm using a slightly larger cam (230/234 .612/.598 112) but those same heads on top of stock gm gaskets.

sweet. i was just planning on useing the gm gaskets as im not running boost or nitrous....for now that is. jus wanting a decent cam that doesnt fall on itself below 5000 rpms and a little bit of compression that way i have a very powerfull combo without having a big *** cam. basically i was doing this setup to prove that a mild cam and budget heads can still go low 11's and compete with ms4 and trex cams no problem

You will have tons of room. I used that cam on a set of 5.3 heads decked .030 about 6 months ago and had plenty of clearance. Car ran good too

Now what about a 5.3 with roughly .040 off it. Giving the heads a 56 CC chamber.

Would you still feel comfortable running that cam? If so, do you think I could get away with anything larger?

LQ4 stock bottom end.
