I am going to be swapping out the stock intake, heads, and cam on my 2002 LQ4 for some L92 heads, comp cam, and carb intake. I tried searching, but I can't find definite answers. Do I need new head bolts? And what intake bolts do I need to use the GMPP carb intake? Also what gaskets and seals need to be replaced? And what about timing chain? The motor has 100k on it.

You can can get complete L92 head swap kit from sponsors; just tell em youre doing a L92 conversion..

Change the timing chain while youre there.

Of course you need new head bolts, you cant reuse GM bolts because they cannot be used twice. ARP head bolts can be reuse 4-5 times though.

I've complete kit from SLP for L92 package that looks pretty appealing in my GM hightech mag. SDPC could have some nice deal too I'm sure.
