Default EGR and AIR with LTs

I am going to be installing Pacesetter race style LTs, do i need any kind of plates to block anything off if i already got the race style headers? Eventually i will get an LS6 intake, but before that, do i need anything at all to block off the EGR and AIR? I know that the fact that they are race style deletes the EGR provisions off of the headers... Thanks

need something to plug the hole in the intake manifold for the egr. You just remove the entire air system

I'm not sure if the headers are the same for a 99 vs an 01, but mine came with the AIR block off plates along with the O2 extensions. I don't know alot about the EGR, just that my car didn't have it. Your car will throw a code, but get it tuned out, no biggy. I got hooker lts, but a buddy of mine has some pacesetters on his 00 ss, and I believe they didn't even have a place for AIR hookups on the headers. Just pull the AIR system off. I know it probably wasn't, but I hope this is at least a little helpful.

You can remove both the AIR and EGR from the vehicle. You will have a hole in the top of the intake behind the TB that needs to be blocked. You can make a plug for it or GM makes a block off plate to put in place. They are like $15.99. Give us a call if you need one!
