Default using red FRC's on a 2002 trans am?

i know most people say you have to use the black ones with the two slots in the drivers side cover, but i got a great deal on some red ones with only one slot in it, is there anyway to make it work on a 2002 trans am? thanks in advance

Sure, either leave one fuel line down on the underside of the cover, or cut a second slot.
