Default need some advice on part location

im new to this site and new to owning my car. i just bought a 1999 pontiac trans am with t tops. im loving the car, but it needs some minor parts. i need to know if there is anywhere besides the dealer i can order the weather striping that goes around the body for the door windows. im hoping that i am explaining that right. i dont know if that strip goes all the way up and around the t top or if its a seperate part all together. any help would be much appreciated.

Google search F-body parts & you may find some salvage yards.
There are a couple of them that are sponsors here also.
Check the listing at the right, ..., --->
www.clevelandpickapart.com

Edit: I went thru the listing & don't see them anymore, so try these;
tennesseeauto.com
fpartssalvage.com/contact.htm
hawksthirdgenparts.com
fbodymotorsports.com/about_us

Or look thru the For Sale forum also.

If you want new, then go to gmpartsdirect.com.
Or try Scoggin-Dickey, also a sponsor here, & see if they'll treat ya right on pricing on new.

And Ebay is always a good source for used parts also.

If it's not torn and just leaking it may just need adjustment or some maintenance (like a rejuvinator for rubber). The side windows have adjustment points underneath the door panel.

Camaro ones are the same too if that saves you some money. Glass, weatherstripping, t-tops, and pretty much all mechanical parts are all shared.
