Is the old stock rear worth anything? I am replacing my rear with a Strange 12-bolt. Is the old one worth anything? Or, should I just haul it straight to the dump?
It is a Series 3 carrier with 3.23 gears from a 1999 Z28. It does not have the backing plates or axles (they were shipped off to Strange).

They go for about 2000 dollars used . I usually buy them from the states for about 300 pay 250 for shipping and then pocket the rest. Makes for a tidy sum.

Re: Is the old stock rear worth anything? Sold mine for a couple hundred bucks too - there is a market 'em from guys who have 2.73's, or event the V6 crowd with open diffs. That's who I sold mine to.

$350 plus shipping. 4.10 gears, LPW Cover, ARP Extended Studs. He didnt have the cash for a new 12 bolt, and his 10 bolt was junk. He was happy.
