Where to buy GM ASA Cam? Sponsors?
Is there anyone that sells this cam cheaper than the normal almost $400.00? I've been looking for it for a while but can't find it anywhere. I'm ready to order if someone has one and can cut me a deal on it. Thanks,
Mike

Thanks, that's still a little high for an older cam. I could buy a TSP cam for a couple dollars more but then again I guess that's how it goes. So Patriot is the only one who can sell a cam for under $300.00? And yes I am cheap, my economy has dropped as well so I have to be cheap to keep on playing. Thanks again. I'm still considering this cam just hope I can find a little better price

You can't get the GM ASA cam any cheaper new, you'd have to buy it used to beat that price.

I just ordered my ASA cam from Scoggin Dickey this morning online. It seems this cam puts out good numbers plus is easy on the valvetrain which is what I'm looking for. Now could I add a set of 1.8 Harland Sharp Rockers to get more lift or would that be a bad idea? Thanks

if u wanted more lift u could have gone bigger on the cam. if ur buying rockers to achive more lift u might as well have spent 800 on a cam. u could find you a used set of yella terra adjustables or something, and that will help give you a lighter valve train which is always good but then with 1.8 rockers your defeating that cams purpose

I'm buying rockers anyway which is why I asked. I don't need one of those donkey dick cams for my car which is driven on long interstate drives and sometimes daily. The ASA cam seems to do what I need it to. My plan is to buy a set of either Yella Terra's or Harland Sharps but I've never used a 1.8 rocker so I don't know if it would make a difference of not. It was just a question. Thanks
