I don't know the specs of the giant, but I had a modified one made for my l92 setup before I went FI. I think it was 251/255 6xx/6xx with lsx/lsk lobes to help on the exhaust side. Patriot golds

We, as well as many other shops, have tested these combos extensively and know that you don't have to have 10º+ of split to make the power with these heads.

I understand why you said it, but testing has shown that they don't need a huge split to make the power

An optimal cam for one set of heads will work for another set of heads, but it will be far from optimal for another set of heads.

Well GM High Tech Performance magazine in it's March '09 issue did an article on L92-LS3 heads on Comp Cams cam recommendations. the article was about VVT, however the two cams Comp speced were good for nonVVT L92 heads. One cam was 218/232 .563/.575 and the other was 222/236 .566/.578. To quote the article"If these splits seem drastic, that is just the nature of L92 or LS3 heads."
IMHO L92 heads need a big split to take advantage of their potential ,small splits give only mediocre results at best. I mean if Comp Cams doesn't know what to recommend then who does?

I didnt have a L92 top end but i loved the Giant in my old car. With a better set of heads and a 85mm or larger MAF I would have been well into the 500s. But I there are people running the giants in 370s with the L92 set up and doing fine. Just all about what you want. But a cam designed for the heads u want or have SHOULD give you the numbers you want and the most outta both.
