Where is your oil pressure?
I have an 02 camaro that was less than stock when i got it. When i bought the car the oil pressure was at 40 at idle and went all the way to 80 when i hit the gas. Now the car idles at about 50 and does the same when i hit the gas. I originally used royal purple and i now use mobil one filter and mobil one oil. I was just wondering if its because of the filter and oil or if i may have an upgraded pump. So if you everyone could tell me what filter, oil, and what mods they have and where their oil pressure is i would appreciate it.

ac delo fiter, 10w30 pennzoil platinum, and i idle around 30 after everything is warmed up for about 30 minutes or more (in traffic or whatnot)
Pressure shoots up immediatly as soon as the revs climb.

40 at idle and I can peg the gage at WOT. I use M1 5w30 and an M1 filter.
Before my cam install (3 years ago) I idled at 30. I suspect Speed Inc shimmed the pump when it was reinstalled to raise the pressure. No worries the car runs great and the oil pressure is good.
