Position of F-body fuel tank??
Hey everyone. Great site. Ive already found an *** load of inf that i couldnt find anywhere else.
But my question is where is the fuel tank positioned in relation to the fuel door? How much higher is the filler cap than the tank?
Im putting a 02 Camaro tank under the trunk of my '63 ChevyII and there is a good foot in vertical differance from where the gas door is to the top of the tank.
Will this pose an overflowing problem when i try to fill the tank?

Im thinking i can relocate the canister and valve up into the wheel well near the location of the filler inlet on the quarter.
What about this? Is this a vent? The tube is open ended. Should this be routed up near the charcoal canister as well?
