Default N20 DRY SYSTEM QUESTION?

I'm about to install dry kit into my 2000 Z28. Its gonna be a 75 shot, Will this mess anything on my car up its got 84k 1 owner car. Its got basic bolt ons such as Vig 3200 stall, 3.42's, LS6 Intake, HPP3, Cut out, SLP long tubes and thats about it. Will my car hold up on a 75 shot of dry? Also what is safer dry or wet? I would really appreciate it if someone could help my with there experiances.

I would suggest reading the nitrous facts, as there is too much information to post, that you should probably know.

First, a 75 shot will be fine ... however you will probably end up going up to a 100-125 when you find out how much fun it is.

Next, you will need colder plugs (TR6's) to run nitrous, period.

For your use, I would probably go with a dry shot, since it is much easier to hide, doesn't hit as hard (won't snap rear ends and other components), you're probably not taxing your stock fuel system, and lastly for ease of installation.

You would want to step up to a wet system if you were concerned with the car not receiving enough fuel, but like I said, that is usually only a problem when you get to the 450rwish power level. My car handled a 100 dry shot perfectly fine, until I installed the cam and a host of other bolt on's, and now it runs lean and the system shuts the nitrous off (time for a tune).

Like I said, do way more research, nitrous is a big deal, and can f up your car if you do not use it correctly.

Thanks for the advice I really think I wont go more than 75 cause its my daily driver and I cant afford to screw it up. Where would I hide the lines and all the other stuff if I didnt want anyone to see them. Is that pretty easy? Also do you think I'm getting a good deal its a 10lb bottle, New purge, bottle warmer, bottle blanket, 75 & 100 jet, plastic bottle mounts and I believe auto bottle opener only used on my friends WS6 for like 4 months tops for $300

Go for it .... and yes, hiding all the lines is extremely simple. It took me about 3 hours to install it the first time (not hidden at all) ... then about a month later I decided I wanted it hidden, and tore it out and reran it. Hiding everything perfectly, took me approximately 10 hours or so (a bunch of breaks, and alot of beer) ... but it is impossible to see, which is exactly what I wanted.

Avoid beer breaks. LOL
Seriously ... my buddy that usually helps me with most of my car projects gets useless after 2 beers. (not drunk, just useless)

Gotta have SOME beer though ....

Btw, no hints ... nitrous install is very straightforward ... read through the instructions a few times and plan everything out in your head so you know where you want to run every wire. Running the line underneith the car is the hardest part, but if you follow the brake lines up, you can just ziptie it to them for most of the way, and you even get to use the heatshield when you run past the headers.

Good luck.
