Hey all just picked up a 96 Z28 A4. 86k Other then some suspension upgrades it's bone stock. I've got roughly 4k to put into it and I would really appreciate feedback on some good performance parts to put on.

I pretty much just drive around town. Hwy/frwy once and a blue moon. I see a ton of Lloyd stuff on here. I saw a thread of yours with some gears, rotors and stock throttle body for sale...these items still avail?

You have 4 main areas to look at:
1) Transmission - Possibly a TransGo HD2 shift kit.
2) Rear - If you have the 2.73, like most did, a 3.73 might be a good choice, along with the controversial differential girdle.
3) Suspension - You said it had some mods, but not what, so I'll leave that alone.
4) Engine - Air in, air out. Certainly an exhaust, a CAI of some type, the much maligned 52mm TB update. Do something with the heads, tons of ideas there.
Just remember, it is a machine composed of many parts. Spend too much attention in one area and not enough in another, you will not be pleased with the overall results.
And personally, I would upgrade the brakes to Brembo blanks and Hawk HPS pads. But that's just me, I like to stop after I go.
