The best way certainly does not involve a dremel tool

yea i would go to autozone or something and pick up an aluminum cleaner and a polish. never used a powerball but i've heard some good things. i have one of those little mouse things that i can put pads on and i also have an orbital buffer, both would do the trick for you.

look for Mothers mag & polish, and check out this thread from my club's website http://www.lvcfo.org/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=2022

the thread is about porting and polishing throttle bodies Dave does a great job explaining how to get it to shine.

One of my cousin's decided to polish up his old P600B Procharger. He did a great job on it and it turned out better then what Procharger does for polishing... however it was a lot of sanding and polishing. He had a air sander with various sizes.

Can't remember specific grits or anything. But you basically start off sanding all the castings and rough spots. Continue to do the entire unit with various grits going down in harshness. Once it get smooth enough you'll repeat the process, but this time around with aluminum polishes.
