Wink New and improved SWITCHPLATES - Now with better switches!

Okay, a lot of people want cutout switches in their switch panels, and I can now offer that. I can also offer every switch in a rocker switch so that everything looks uniform and there is no purge switch that looks out of place.

What's new here:

3 position rocker switches - On / Off / On (not a 3 position momentary. You will have to flip it to either "on" position and then back to neutral yourself. It will not go neutral by itself)
-seen on the opener and cutout

momentary rocker switch instead of a push button momentary
-seen on the purge

The end result is a panel that looks more professional, and keeps the switches at an extremely low profile. By the way, the ashtray lid still closes without interference.

M6 guys, I am going to finish up the plate for your ashtrays within the next couple of weeks. Keep your spirits up . The downside is that labeling will not be able to be backlit properly due to clearance issues, but I can color labels as seen in these photos.

Here we go:

A4 and M6 cubby hole plate (for use with cars without traction control):

A4 ashtray plate

These will be coming for 1999-present Mustangs, and 04-06 GTOs as well, so tell your friends to stay on the lookout.

Estimated pricing: $44.00 for any plate with 2 switches. Each additional switch will cost $4.00. This includes labeling and coloring.

These are available now!!!

Thanks.

The plates on the site will be updated to these in the coming day or two. These are so much nicer for the same cost.

No sir, not a 3-way momentary. You flip it up or down and have to flip it back to neutral yourself. This is a 3-pronged switch.

these look very nice, gives me a reason to put in an ls1 console.

question: do I need to replace the entire dash system to utilize the "cubby hole" section on the console? I don't like the giant cassette holder in the 93-96 console, and these look much more aesthetically pleasing/modern.

I have no idea to be honest with you.

I just sealed my fate with a gauge plate there or I would have been all over it. I'm still highly considering the M6 console (with my A4) to use with your switch plate in the ashtray...

Definitely looking forward to the GTO stuff as I need it for the wife's car. Are you making a panel for them where the cupholders go or for the areas (made for switch plates actually) behind the window switches?

I already have some GTO stuff drawn up and have made beta cuts, but no final products yet. I have made plates for the cupholder area, and I will look into other areas as well. That's the thing about these - some people want their cupholders so they want a different plate. In order to hit the most peoples' needs, I need to try to make several styles for each kind of car. My friend Dalton has an 05 I guinea pig on to make stuff.

As for the M6 plate, it will be made in a matter of a week or two - I'm forcing it to happen.

^^Yeah, a lot of us 04 GTO's want a door unlock button but don't want to pay $200 for a switch and plate.

I will have you make a plate for me that is lock and unlock (momentary up and down) for the doors and also a on/off momentary for the garage door opener

You don't happen to have a round, big red button type of momentary switch, do you? One that is the same diameter as the rest of the rocker switches?

And for reference, this is what I'm talking about (granted, I know it isn't exactly quite as big as the rockers):

Just made this one for a member on here:

He will be using his own switches, so this is just the panel.

Find me a link to one you want and I'll order it. Those aren't easy to come by without needing a relay.
