Default squeeking on decellerating

ok i have a serious loss of power

I burnt the clutch up pretty bad the other week and noticed power loss later that night.

Since i have replaced the air and fuel filters/ plugs and wires. Checked the codes and only codes that i have are for the air.

I have a light metallic squeeking coming from the drivers side rear valve cover area. only at decellerating though that i can hear. And only audible enough to hear when not moving and free reving.

There is a slight manifold to cat exhaust leak.

I have lost about 15 lbs of oil pressure since also. Now at a warm idle it has about 25 to 35lbs before it held atleast 45lbs Oil was recently changed and is good yet. Mobil synthetic 5w30 Suv / Truch and Heavy Duty blend.

Ill post a video in a few minutes when i get back out to it

any help will be appreciated

thanks ken

Let me be the first to say that it sounds like a broken spring.

Spun bearing can sometimes squeak and your OP dropping also makes me wannna look there.

Pull the valve covers and have a look and if you have duals inspect the inner spring carefully. UOA may also give you a clue and blackstone labs usually has a turn around in a week or so

It doesn't sound like the last bearing I spun but anything is possible

checked the drivers side valve springs today and they all seemed just fine. This car is new to me so im thinking it may have possibly been there the entire time. (the noise that is) Could a throw out bearing or pinion make this noise. Also the past 2 days my oil pressure was back up to around 45-50 psi at a cold idle. Dont know what to make of that one lol... Havent really drove it enough to get it hot and see where its at when hot.

A throw out bearing does not make noise from valve cover area.

It is not cold OP that matters but what it is at operating temps.
