I fI was farther along, I would finish my thread, but I am not going to update it until I finish the engine, which will be in 2-3 weeks...
AJE k-member, which was really a moot point since I am now going motor plate...
Kooks fox body swap headers (I am having mine custom made, but others love them)
I am buying a Moroso 7qt oil pan for my foxy body. part number 20140 or 20141
http://www.moroso.com/catalog/catego...?catcode=17002
Intake would be an Edelbrock Victor Jr or Super Victor for a carb...

Most people are getting an AJE SBC k member and using SBC to LS1 conversion mounts. Kooks and I think Dynatech make headers for the swap. Or you can use 351 Windsor headers. You cut the Ford flanges off, get some LS1 flanges, heat and bend the 2 middle tubes to fit the LS1 flanges, then weld them together. That's the cheapest header swap. You can also use a 94 up 4.6 k member (stock or aftermarket), use the 4.6 motor mounts also. You have to cut the mounts in half and add some metal and weld them up. The 4.6 mounts bolt up after they have been cut and metal added to them. This is what i've learned from all the searches on here. I think i've read all of them. I'm doing a 6.0 turbo swap in a 91 hatch. I'm going to take pictures and post a thread about this in the next few months. I'm going to build my own k member specifically for the LS1. Does anyone think there is a market for a k member like this? I could also build some headers too. They would involve a lil more work though. I hope this helps you out. Good luck with the build.

well... me and buddy are working on a 5.3 swap in a 91 GT now. We are welding the truck mounts to plates on the stock K member and using truck pan(however it is low) and we are running a TH350.
We are using a carb RPM intake Edelbrock/MSD computer setup with a comp 220 cam and 3000 stall. C5 manifolds, no cats, flowmasters with tailpipes.
we are trying to stay under 3k

I didn't know they had one. All the post i've read had the SBC k member w/ conversion mounts. Thanks for the info themachasy. I forgot to mention, you can use the F Body or truck oil pan. As holley505 stated, the truck pan is lower and will not have as much ground clearance.
