Default lt1 autometer temp sending until, what do i do with the stock wire?

i bought a temp gauge and sender, installed it and just left the stock temp harness unplugged, its to sensor in the head not the pump, the one in the head is only for stock gauge right? it should be ok unpluged?

Dude...don't bump threads after they've only been up for 7 minutes.

The temp sensor in the head is only for the gauge. You can leave it unplugged if you want.

or there is another route you can run them both. both heads have a tap into the water jacket i believe the driver side is closer to the front and the pass side is closer to the back.
