Default MALF 16: Lo-Res Fail

Just logged my car for the first time today with datamaster. And a DTC MALF 16: Lo-Res Fail popped up? The car runs fine, I think? Is my opti shot? Will this lower horsepoer and performance?

Chances are it's a stored code if your car runs fine. Pull the PCM/BAT fuse for a minute or two, then rescan.

DTC 16 means loss of low-resolution pulse from the opti. Usually means your opti is on it's way out.

I cleared the codes with free scan and it came back should I disconnect the battery anyway?
