Default Cai

Well I got my Diablo and now I need a CAI. Posting this in the classifide section is pointless because there are so few LS4's on this board. But if anyone has a CAI they want to move for a 06 Imp SS let me know.

If all else fails, a lot of vendors carry the K&N CAI

I know but that is SO EXPENSIVE new. I've owned Vettes and my last car was a GTO and neither car's CAI was nearly as expensive. I looked through and I noticed when people do sell them they are going for 150-170 that is far more reasonable.

I paid $240 for the K&N new, I agree it's a lil pricey. But unfortunately we're shot in options.

That's a good price for a new one. Also try wundercarparts.com they usually have a good price as well.

That isn't bad for a new one. It's ironic my c5's CAI was 190.00 new and was a Volant.

Make your own custom CAI, all you need is a 3.25" to 3" coupler, about 8" to 12" of 3" piping and a K&N filter. I've made a custom fenderwell intake for my gxp for under 80 dollars but I got the stainless pipe for free Oh yeah, and you'll need 2 band clamps. I'll get pictures on here when I get mine put together. Getting the pipe powdercoated at the moment
