Default Anyone tow with a 2500 suburban?

My quest for a tow vehicle is still going strong. I was set on trading my tahoe for a 2500 pickup. I came across a good deal on a 2500 suburban. The tow rating is 12000lb max just like a truck. I'll be towing a 3500lb car with 3500lb trailor. Just looking for feedback. This is the 6.0 motor also. Most of my tows will be under 2hrs and only a couple times a month during the summer.

You will be fine with that. I just towed a 32ft. sail boat to Keywest that weighed 4000lb. and 2000lb trailer. I had know problem. Plenty of power for the hills and good brakes.

it'd be a good tow vehicle my dads got a 2500 with a 6liter and it tow around a 30' enclosed trailor full of mowers and a bed full of equipment and it does that everyday in the summer. it also hauls around a big *** tractor. he's had it for 7yrs now and no problems. probably about 80k miles on the motor from towing.
